BOHINJ - AN OASIS OF SURPRISES

Bohinj lies in the heart of the Julian Alps. More than two thirds of Bohinj lies in the pro-tected area of the Triglav National Park, the only national park in Slovenia. The Triglav National Park covers almost all of the Julian Alps on the Slovenian side. The highest point is the sum¬mit of Mount Triglav (2864 m), after which the park is named.
